Glasshouse Assignment photographer Adam Taylor has collaborated with Clemenger BBDO to create Fisher & Paykel’s new campaign. The Art Director was Katrina Jarrett and the Writer was Nikola Spadina. The campaign is all about friends sharing a wonderful dinner together and celebrating each others company.

Adam Taylor brought his amazing vision, technical prowess and gorgeous lighting to the campaign, creating two beautiful images for the luxury home and kitchen appliance company. Adam used the Canon 24mm tse II to eliminate the distortion from the high camera angle in “Desire” and a little for “Joy” as well.

In Adam’s words: “I directed the talent through the space using slow shutter speeds to capture their “ghostings” as they acted out various scenarios. It was like being a painter and making brushstrokes or “ghostings” with the talent’s movements and expressions through the kitchen and dining space.”

Spencer Jones shot this month’s “Fire and Ice” beverage feature for Tasting Table, the fantastic daily digital publication that covers food and drink culture. Spencer photographed different brands of Eisbock beer, a specialty beer that is created when bock beer is frozen. Scott Hocker, Editor-in-Chief at Tasting Table, worked with Spencer to come up with some creative, icy ideas for the shoot. After a long day with arctic-like temperatures in studio, a 300 pound block of ice and assistant Scott Meadows covered in beer we have some great results. Check out the article here and see below for some of Spencer’s favorite images.

Trevor Dixon and VF Imagewear have been teaming up for quite a while now. We are absolutely thrilled with the latest job – the Red Kap Automotive catalog. Trevor’s lighting and gorgeous aesthetic lent such a mood and intensity to this shoot – we couldn’t have asked for more! Check out some of the images from the catalog below:

Thanks to Leslie and Heather at VF for the fantastic art direction and Bryan, production manager, for making sure things run smoothly and making the whole shoot perfectly come together as always! Trevor and his team really did a great job on the 24 page catalog – big thanks to the talent, wardrobe stylist Lauren Kozakiewicz, wardrobe assistant Avery Osborne, hair/mu Dawn Episcopo, Trevor’s assistants Charlie W. and Ryan Lavine, Kitchen Sink Fabrications for the fantastic backgrounds and Issa Dixon for production and casting! All together the shoot was fantastic.

Evan Kafka shot a feature story on “Hunting Excuses” for Outdoor Life Magazine’s November issue. Working with Justin Appenzeller and Jim Walsh at Outdoor Life, Evan and his crew helped to illustrate some of the hilarious excuses hunters use to skip out on the big day. See below for some of our favorite images and outtakes.

Evan worked with stylist Ellen Silverstein to procure bundles of corn stalks, fall leaves, a small Japanese Maple tree and 350 pounds of sand! Luckily, Some Studio is lovated in the heart of NYC’s flower district, convenient for those last minute needed corn stalks… Assistants Josh Freiwald, Richard Solinger and Ellen’s crew (August Goulet and Lisa Metropolis) all worked hard to create fields, wind, beach and a fall leaf pile. Model Kevin Witt withstood the craziness and heat under 4 layers of hunting gear.

Evan Kafka shot the cover and feature of the October 2011 issue of The Atlantic. He photographed a model, William Coleman, in studio to illustrate Taylor Branch‘s story about how the NCAA may be taking advantage of athletes. It is a powerful story with Evan’s signature emotional, expressive and rich imagery illustrating the controversial narrative. Hair, makeup, dirt and sweat by the fantastic Nikki Wang.

Here are some great outtakes thanks to Samantha Caruthers:

Shots Magazine featured a story in their Cannes issue on Leo Burnett‘s recent opening of a New York office, spearheaded by CCO Jay Benjamin. Jay and his team approached us with great ideas and let Ryan Schude really bring his imagination and technical skills to light, creating a hysterical, gorgeous image of the quirky bunch. Working with Jay Benjamin, Kieran Antill and Shaina Stigler at LB as well as Casey Levine and Monique Perreault from KWC Productions and brilliant hair and makeup artist Jennifer Fleming of Facemaid, the shoot went off without a hitch – allowing for maximum creativity and freedom. Guests at The Plaza that day may have been surprised to see a crowd of hunters, polo players, debutantes and giant scissor toting gentlemen milling around the Grand Ballroom staircase….
