Kang Kim Shoots For Boston Magazine

Kang Kim photographed for Boston Magazine‘s February Food Feature! The story, entitled, “Umami Rising,” highlights Asian food as one of the fastest trending eats in Boston, and all over the U.S. For the story, Kang worked with Photo Editor Scott Lacey to figure out a way to visually portray chopsticks in an interesting way, using color, movement and lighting as key elements. We love the final spread, which pairs Kang’s still life with a portrait Scott Lacey shot. We’ve also included a few of our favorite outtakes from the shoot! Check out Boston Magazine’s print issue to see the entire story, and visit the Glasshouse Assignment website to view more work from Kang.
