Guinness World Records commissioned Ryan Schude to make some portraits of Rick Baker, who has the most Academy Awards, 7 in total, for best makeup.
“His place was called Cinovation Studios. It was like a museum, we could have shot there for days and never covered it all,” Ryan said. “It was amazing to see all of the work displayed so perfectly. The Grinch, Nutty Professor, Harry and the Hendersons, Mighty Joe Young, all the Men in Black characters, it never ended.”
“For the shot of him at his desk, we selected our favorite heads to pose with him and his Oscars, it was Rick’s idea to put his arms behind his back to mimic his creations,” Ryan explained. “He was really patient and gracious with us throughout the whole process.”
