We are very pleased to announce the addition of Roj Rodriguez to our team of exceptional artists.
Roj Rodriguez, a Texas native with Mexican-American heritage, immersed himself in the visual arts from an early age. He moved to NYC in 2000 where he found the exposure of the city’s ethnic and socio-economic diversity created a renewed, deeper admiration and respect for other cultures including his own. Roj’s work has been honored by PDN, LUCIE IPA Awards, the American Photo Magazine’s Image of the Year Award and his personal work has been included into 4 museums’ personal collections. He is now based in Austin, Texas.
“I immensely respect it when people are devoted to their craft – whether you’re the top athlete or the groundskeeper,” he says. “I am honored when people allow me to portray their true, authentic selves in my images.” Roj Rodriguez
Roj’s work has been exhibited alongside celebrated photographers such as:
Edward Weston, Tina Modotti, Manuel Alvarez Bravo, and Paul Strand at The San Antonio Museum of Art.
