Julio Calvo is a Spanish photographer based in Northern Spain.
Julio started in the late 90s shooting editorial assignments, documenting life in the high mountain villages of Spain. From there he traveled all over Europe documenting the inhabitants of Europe’s small towns and cities.
Recently he started exploring concept-based fine art, often creating diptychs that delve into symbolism, textures and the interaction of form and human emotions.
